first week of rotations was spent in a classroom so hot
the ac stream froze my scalp, which was scrunched
by my damp pillow from my shower last night
because I’m flipping my grooming schedule, which
is often inconvient because not having an sry means all
my organs stayed inside my body, which means that
now I have at least 3 organs that could apoptose and
I wouldn’t really care, which is a lie because I haven’t
actually asked anyone to remove them for me, which is
why more than just my uterus cries when I don’t acheive
‘my biological imperative,’ which I always thought was simply
to keep yourself alive, which is supposed be MY goal but
in this frigid classroom I’m supposed to be learning how to be
a doctor, which is apparently the state of not having a body,
which is precisely the reason people with bodies like mine need
to take care of patients that bleed and absorb and be in ways
that doctors typically do not, but damn, right now I’m freezing
and I really need to pee, which is code for something else
but you’ll just call me vulgar and think much less of me.
